BFN. 11 dpo.

Erin, I just went back a page to check one of your last posts and sure enough, you said that you have never had even the faintest of positives until day 13. Hang in there, honey! You could be pregnant, you've just got a late HcG producing body like I do.

When I was trying to conceive my first child it was sixteen years ago, lo before the land of the Internet and Dollar Store cheapies, and I went to a clinic for a "sensitive urine test". It was the day AF was due. A full 14dpo. The store bought tests were negative so I drove to this clinic for a sensitive test.

The lady ran my test and said, "It's negative.". I cried my heart out... then called my doctor who ran a blood test... and the next day got a call that it was positive.

The moral of my long story is not to trust tests until it's either positive or AF arrives. I'll be praying for all of Mothering.com's TTC friends today at Mass.

(((Hugs)))

Me too. BFN at 11 DPO But I'm not really going to start giving up until tomorrow because 12 DPO is when I usually get my BFNs. I haven't had any more spotting and my temperature is slightly higher than it has been all month so I'm still feeling hopeful.

Erin, that must have been SO hard having your friend find out she's pregnant at your house! I know you're happy for her but the timing wasn't the best for you.

Thanks for the prayers Villagemom6!

I took a test today...it was a VERY VERY VERY faint line. And then it was gone. Wha...But it IS early. So I am going to take a test tomorrow and then maybe get a digital on the 9th...CD30. I am feeling pg...have several of the "pg symptoms"...hahaha. Here's hoping!

Thanks. It was such terrible timing--and today it's really hitting home. I started getting my standard pre-af ewcm and those undeniable cramps that just scream that AF IS ON HER WAY.

I cried on DH's shoulder this morning and he was such a lousy support system it about killed me. TTC was really hard on him this month, and despite going above and beyond to let him know I'm not upset with him, I think he's taking it personally or something. And with my best friend having just gotten a surprise BFP, I don't really feel like I can rain on her parade. I don't mean to sound like a drama queen, but I feel really sad and lonely and empty.

On a brighter note, I made some really good pineapple juice/orange juice/gingerale/vodka punch and it is totally therapeutic. I going to call it my "I'm Not Even A Little Pregnant Tropical Punch" (I know--creative, right? I thought that up just now!) and I'm off to make another pitcher.

VillageMom, thanks for being so encouraging. I've really valued your companionship during the 2ww.

Mae, I've been wondering; with all the posting you do around the Fertility boards, do you get 'gut feelings' about who's pregnant or will end up pregnant, after seeing it so many times?

yes but i do not tell them, because i fear that the women i do not tell and they get their AF will start to blame me.

HAHAHAH, I love you. There were no time for pics. I was still sitting there obsessing over it...and then it was gone after 5 minutes as I was STILL sitting there. I know...that's not an excuse. I'm sorry.

It WON'T happen next time...I promise! I will take the camera in with me!!!!

erin that "i'm not even a little pregnant punch" sounds delicious. i myself am having the "af is a b!tch" hot mulled apple cider with whiskey. supposedly the apple cider is to help set the mood while decorating the christmas tree we got this afternoon, but i thought spiking it would help set the mood even better

here's hoping for some BFPs for you all!!!!

FRER are more sensitive than the Dollar Tree tests, right? So, if $ isn't an issue, FRER would be the best to test early with? I read that (even though they don't publicly state this) FRER test for 12.5 mIU. My Dollar Tree tests are 25. I think I'm going to get a FRER 3 pack and test tomorrow...I can't wait any longer!! Today is 7 or 8 DPO.

They are the same sensitivity. FRER used to be 12.5 but that was back when they were less reliable and giving a lot of false positives.

Temp dropped this morning (extremely close to my coverline) but I'm still having the "symptoms".

If AF or spotting doesn't happen by Tuesday (CD 13) I am going to test Wednesday.

Last cycle was my first cycle temping. I have a 11 day long LP and I started spotting on 9 DPO (I always spot 2 days before AF starts full blown). I'm taking B-Complex, so it looks like it's working on extending that LP.

Should I test in the AM (12 DPO)??

If last month was your first month temping, it is possible that your LP is not actually 11 days. Also keep in mind that an 11 day LP means AF is due tomorrow... the pills could just be keeping away the spotting. Especially with the dip you had today.

My first month temping mine looked like 10 days but after another month and seeing how it changed I realized the month before had actually been 13 days (with AF happening on cd14) and my average is 14 days (with AF happening on cd15)

However that its all due to pregnancy. If you can hold out to test til Tuesday you are stronger than I am!

BFN @ 12DPO.

And I could have saved a test because it looks like spotting has started. I bet AF is here by Wednesday. Anyone want to place bets?!

I'm sorry, MrsD08.

Erin, you are very welcome for the encouragement. I know how hard it is to long for something (someone) who isn't arriving when we hope, but the Lord has willed all of your children since before time began. It can be a challenge to trust that they will arrive at His perfect time. Many (((hugs))).

Edited to add that I will take you up on your offer of Consolation Punch in a few days!

Well........it was still VERY VERY faint(notice I only used 2 VERY's this time...bc it was more obvious!!!) I tried taking a pic but my camera sucks. It was blurry. It faded again, but I can still see it if I tilt it a bit. I'm getting a digital today. My bbs are starting to hurt more and I'm crying more. Last night we were wrestling...not sex, but really wrestling. We tickle and pin eachother down...all 4 of us get into it...and DH ACCIDENTLY pulled my arm and it didn't *really* hurt, but I started BAWLING! Yes folks....I started crying so hard I was sobbing and HUGE tears were streaming out. Gee...ya think I'm pg???? LOL It didn't even hurt. Wuss.
