Nervous about turning in exemption...

Thread Starter
So I am going to turn in my vax exemption forms to my daughters preschool tomorrow and I am totally nervous about it. My fear is that they give me a hard time about it and I won't know how to respond.

I hope I can drop it off and never hear anything about it!

Wish me luck!

I bet you it goes just fine. Try not to be nervous. If you are in CO - We turned in exemptions at 3 different schools there with not even so much as a weird look. The office ladies just want to make sure paperwork is complete in the kids' files. The nurse just needs to be sure she adheres to the district/health depts. standards - which means an exemption is just as good as a shot record.

Chances are no one will say anything. Good luck!

ETA: and we've also turned in exemptions in 3 different schools in NM which is a bit more complicated process - but still no questions asked, if that makes you feel any better.

You'll do fine, mama! Just employ that tried-and-true broken record tactic that has worked like magic for a lot of mamas in this forum.

"Thank you for your concern, but my decision is not up for discussion. Please process this exemption form."

...Or something like that, stated ad nauseam if necessary.
