Where's the baby???

With my first two, prelabor signs only came hours before labor. This time around, i've had diarrhea for 9 days, had bloody show 5 days ago, lost my mucus plug over the weekend, and have had like 3 separate false starts since last week. Now I've been getting hot flashes all day and even vomiting. And i'm starting to doubt that the end will ever come... Eeesh.

Anyone else have a drawn out prelabor? How long can it possibly last??

Oo sorry you have to go through that. I wonder if you could be sick as well as preparing for labor? What with the vomiting and all. If so that could be preventing labor from really getting started. Take care of yourself and keep hydrated! I have no idea how long it will be either, I do know it can't be forever. Wishing you comfort and a quick end to this some labor but no baby yet stuff.

Thanks for the support. I'm pretty sure I'm not sick... I usually get nauseaus during prelabor, it just usually lasts an hour or two... This baby is taking her sweet time, it seems. I'm just getting frustrated...

Hey mama!

I'm a little behind you but I've been doing the same thing. It is making me crazy! I've had a week of diarrhea, the baby has dropped, I lost big chunks of my mucous plug right before Thanksgiving and have had lots of pressure, cramping, back pain and BH. Now I've started with the on-and-off nausea and vomiting. Basically, I have all the signs now that I had during the week or so before DS and DD were born. This seems to be dragging on forever... and I'm only a week into it! LOL! I don't mind waiting for labor at all... I just wish I wasn't feeling so crappy!

Exactly! I'm 37+6 (exactly when i delivered ds, dd was 38+1), and i'm over it if i go later than i've ever gone, but i just wish i didn't feel so awful!!! It's a lot easier to be patient when u don't feel like this, lol. And every day I'm thinking, "Well, it can't possibly be more than another couple days with these symptoms..." and every day, i wake up again with no baby. lol.
