I went into the church nursery to check on my baby and the lady had just finished changing his diaper. "I wanted to see how those cloth diapers work, because my kids have told me they'll use them if/when they have kids. It was easy". She had replaced the wet prefold with a new one- she didn't really fold it but just kind of squished it together in front, which worked great. She's the first person to ever change my son in the nursery, even when I usually make a point of mentioning the "easy" bumGenius in his diaper bag. I love her!

My mom said the same thing when we first switched DS to cloth. She had expected the PF's, pins and plastic pants that she used to use when I was a baby. She was so surprised when I first showed her the Fuzzi Bunz! She thought they were so cool!
By the time DD came along she was confidently changing fitteds and wool, PF's and everything in between!

A childless friend watched me change DD (prefold, snappi, cover). When I talked to her a few weeks later, she was still talking about how easy it looks. They are TTC, so she says she will come to me for cloth info later on. This is someone I never would have expected to CD. It is always good to shed some light.

That is awesome. I actually had a few friends who were amazed at how easy it was to change my son.
On a different note, I do home daycare and I finally convinced one of the parents to go with prefolds and covers instead of g-diapers. She originally only wanted to do g-diapers and never thought her sons daycare would ever do cloth. She doesn't want to do cloth at home, but agreed she could save a lot of money by doing only cloth at my house. So there are daycare providers/workers who are very willing to do cloth. Although, I am probably one of the only ones who is willing to wash them too. Honestly, it gives me a full load to do daily with my sons diapers as well.

I was changing DS2's diaper at a clogging performance (prefolds) and one of the fellow cloggers, a 7 year old girl, said, "So, do you use those because they are easier?" It made my day.
She has asked many questions about cloth diapers and has come to the conclusion that they are a great thing. Easy even.
I hope that impression sticks with her.
