I tried a suction cup bath mats but it never stayed in place during the bath, then the suction cups started coming off, and it got gross even though I would ring it out after each use and hang it to dry. So I switched to the stick on treads, but they are starting to come off. What do you use?

It probably makes a difference what material your tub is made out of. Ours is the old slippery metal kind and the suction cups work fine. The mat I have is kind of spongy and has holes so air gets underneith. It also can be washed in the washing machine so it's easy to keep from getting gross.
