Scared of toilets!

At home we use a baby bjoern and DD absolutely loves it. Until recently we never tried using an actual toilet and we just put her in diapers when we went out. Well, the other day we were at a mall and they had a kid's toilet. We had gone to change her but she was dry so we figured why not try the kid's toilet, right? Well, the stupid thing had an automatic flush on it that went off before she even sat down and she flipped out! After that she won't go near any other toilets (except ours at home). Any thoughts on how to help stop being so scared of toilets? I'd really like her to be able to use toilets when we're away. We've noticed that she's been holding it when we go out and she's gotten to where she HATES using her diaper so I know she's not very comfortable if we leave home.

DD was scared to sit on a toilet for a long time b/c of the height, so I always took the baby bjorn or the Potette folding potty out with us. This meant that I had to tote my giant infant diaper bag for a lot longer than I would have liked, but it worked great!

In the future, keep a pad of Post-It notes in your bag. You can put one over the sensor on the toilet to keep it from going off

Ok, thanks for the Potette folding potty suggestion! I've never seen one before but that looks like it's exactly what we need!!!! Oh, and thanks the for the sticky note suggestion too.
