Small Victories!

Thread Starter
Last night, Nate woke up in his cosleeper after having been out for about 2 hours (normal timing for him). I pulled him over into bed, nursed him on both sides (plus a bit of sleeping for both of us), then put him back in the cosleeper where he stayed asleep and slept two more hours. That was a first! Hooray!

Anybody else have any small victories to report today?

Yay for sleep! Evan is sleeping longer stretches at night now too. Although sometimes I wonder if I just don't remember waking up and nursing him next to me.

We had some yesterday. I watched The Happiest Baby on the Block and realized what I was doing wrong with swaddling. So I gave it another go (we hadn't been trying anymore) and once she was sleepy I was able to put her in her swing twice and she stayed there for over an hour each time!

Also, last night we swaddled her up tight for bed and she slept for 5 hours before waking up to eat.

Yay for small victories!

Israel has had a few nights where he slept the entire night in his crib and didn't end up in bed with us at all.. except to nurse and then I put him right back.
Most nights he ends up in bed with us by 4 or 5 am.....
