I said in the beginning of this pg, I would just think of Dec 1st as my due date so I wouldn't get antsy. Well I guess baby held me to it and now I'm holding him to it TODAY.
Well if nothing else I started to lose my mucous plug this morning. That never happened with ds 1 and now at 41 weeks any sign will make me happy. I also have an appointment today with my midwife.

I'm still here, but only a couple of days "overdue" whatever that means. I expected to go into Dec. Here's to the full moon!

Sara, are you sure about your conception date? Is this your first? Hang in there!

I am still here. Was "due" around the 22nd. Feeling mainly fine. By next monday, my midwives would like to start me on some herbs to help things along. I am fine with that considering that I will be past 42 weeks.

Went to exactly 40 weeks with ds, and have been measuring ahead the whole time, so I am rather surprised to find myself pregnant still.

I am still here too. 7 days past due. This time 4.5 years ago I was being coerced into an induction by my OB so I am feeling very positive right now. I just wish I was feeling something!

Whine, whine, whine. I'm still here. Ten days late with my fourth baby. Poop. Was up last night with crazy strong contrx, but then they petered out around 5 AM and then I've had a few since then. Maybe tonight???? Please???? My parents have gone home, DH has to work this week, and I am not doing great mentally. So ready to have this baby. So done with being pg.

Howdy gals---

I was due 11/27 (dated from the date of conception, as I didn't ovulate until day 42 of that cycle).....and I always had in my head that 12/1 would be my due date, my husband thought 12/2....(I think I posted that on the guessing thread we had a while back).

Well, now its 12/1, and I am not thinking anything is going to happen today-- but who knows! I have been losing bits of mucous since Friday- but that is when my midwife checked and "stretched" me (although I didn't ask to be stretched). I was between 2-3cms dilated and 80% effaced....but I know that means jack s#it....as you can go for weeks like that. Also, we have been having sex (TMI for some, sorry!)- so that could also be what is causing the mucous plug to look like its coming out.....who knows.

Either way- its not that I am totally impatient, I trust my body to do what it needs (and I am only 40w and 4d).......it's just my hormone levels have taken another high spike and I am feeling much more emotional then I have the entire pregnancy. That's making this a littttttttttttle more tough! (for me and my DH for sure.....)

Pretty certain, even with the latest date I think it could have been (that correlates with HPT's and HCG testing) I would be 42 weeks tomorrow

Oh and this is my 3rd, but my first 2 were c/s.

Do you know if your mom had a history of going 42+? I'm betting all your babies would have cooked longer if left to their own devices.

They definitely would have cooked long! With #2 I planned a VBAC, but with an OB, and when I reached 41 weeks was coerced into another c/s. My Mom birthed us all by 36 weeks (4 babies), but my Aunt (her twin) just told me that she had her 4th baby 19 days late! I'm hoping I will follow their labor pattern though as all the women in my family (who labored and delivered naturally) gave birth about an hour or so after active labor started.

I am still here too! Started black and blue cohash today although I am only 6 or so days overdue. Don't want to end up in the hospital tho (which I would have to do if I went to 42 weeks... midwives can't deliver over 42 weeks). Nothing happening tho...

I'm still here too... at 40+6 and I *finally* lost some plug this am (all clear, no blood). I also had acupuncture today to try to get things moving... my mom comes tomorrow night and I sure would love to be in labor before then but I'm not holding my breath, you know?

I lost my plug yesterday. That has never happened to me before with my previous pregnancies. DH and I DTD and I'm now sitting here with contractions. Maybe this is it? Who knows.

Still here too. Not much going on at 41 +1. I'll probably start on some herbal inductions if I don't have this baby by Friday. Otherwise just trying to hang in there. C'mon baby!!

Hi ladies! How is everyone feeling today! Mentally, I am better....but nothing new is going on physically if you know what I mean....lolol

I guess I might actually be going to my BPP test tomorrow after all! I was certain that I wasn't going to make it that far.....maybe my quick and easy labor will begin this evening??? Oh well!

PS- Athena....we look forward to hearing the update! How exciting!

I'm still here too. I have to admit that if I sleep well, waiting seems much easier. I woke up at 11am (after waking and sleeping several time over the course of the night) and now am considering another nap...hehe.
