Eating Strikes

My 4.5 month old is not eating like he used to. He used to eat 7 ounces every 3 hours. But now he only eats 6 ounces once in the morning, and the rest of the time only 3 or 4 ounces every 3 hours.

Is that normal for them to stop eating what they usually did? I noticed today he's been drooling much more than usual so maybe it's teething? Or maybe he's just not going through a growth spurt. I don't know. Anyone else experience this? I am going to mention it to the pedi.

I've noticed this too with my DD who is 4.5 months. Some days she's a hungry little baby and other days she's not really interested in eating a lot. Other moms have told me that it's normal but I haven't talked to the pedi yet (we see him Thursday).

We see ours on Thursday too!
