Lead Free Christmas Lights? RoHS compliant?

Hi! Does anyone know where to get lead-free christmas lights? I read in the archives here that lights that are RoHS compliant have no lead or less lead in them, but RoHS compliant lights are only from Europe apparently. I was thinking about buying some of these lights online, but does anyone know if European lights will work here in the US? Aren't the outlets different?

Thanks!

I don't know about the lead, but it is possible to find electric outlet adaptors.

When I was a teenager, my mom and I went to france. We saw the cutest hanging lights (essentially white christmas tree lights with little paper colored cones on them), and brought them home. It took going to a few shops, but we eventually found an adaptor that allowed me to use them in my room no problem.

Thanks for the info! I actually ended up just buying a bunch of LED tea lights and I am going to use them instead. Hopefully they will look nice. I just couldn't imagine being able to keep my 11 month old away from the string lights!

Happy Holidays!

ROHS lights

I looked online last year and this year and didn't find any (other than the UK site), but I finally found this today! I went ahead and ordered them to use next year, since its too late for this year. Yippee!

Oh, yeah and they are solar powered, so no adaptor needed!
