23 month old boy with 2-3 pee misses a day, usually no misses nighttime. Traveling for 1 week, plane, hotels, no laundry. We don't really want to go back to diapers, but not feasible to go for it with underwear without laundry and moving hotels before things could air dry, all the extra clothes to pack...anyone have experience with seventh generation "training pants"? Not even sure they will fit my skinny 21lb child. I wouldn't usually consider them as they see like they could be confusing for kids. one week might be ok though? thanks

My nephew's pull-ups would've worked on Lina and she's a small 15months. Being tight to the body doesn't matter as much for pee misses.
Also, the hotel might have a laundry room. All the hotels I stayed at this fall had laundry rooms and one had a laundry room on every floor. It was $2.50/load to wash and dry. Or you could go to a laundry mat.
It'd give you the option of packing a couple cloth trainers a day and only using the 7th gen trainers after you had X misses in a day. Then do a load once during the week. And planning at least one load in the week also lets you pack fewer other clothes.

Other ideas for the brainstorm:
-diaper covers or other waterproof layer over underwear to help prevent misses from getting the rest of the clothes
-prefolds folded into underwear to give you a few seconds before pee misses soak through
-wool pants... just hang out to dry, and wear them again
-and as sapphire_chan said, one load of laundry during the week does wonders. Call your hotels and see what arrangements they have.

I would suggest sticking to your normal routine w/ the underwear and doing laundry at a mat once on your trip.
I traveled w/ the baby (just for 4 days) but she was 9 months and having 2-4 misses a day. I packed extra clothes (3 pairs of pants for every shirt, 2 shirt/pants set per day), a stack of pre-folds (for laying on my lap or on her high chair, or in her car seat, etc.), her washable trainers for night time, a potette w/ liners, and a couple of wet bags. On the airplane I packed quite a few outfits and an x-tra pair of pants for me
. No misses on the plane though. Overall it was way easier than I thought it was going to be and i was glad I didn't change our routine much. Packing the x-tra clothes wasn't really an issue as the outfits are fairly small and you can fit quite a bit into a small space. (2-3 days of clothes (as explained above) would take up the same ammount of space as a pack of diapers.
To answer your question about the 7th gen pull ups. We used those when dd was 5months and still having quite a few misses. She was about 13-14 lbs and they fit her good enough. We just rolled down the top and they worked great. They even held in breast milk poo. They did mess w/ ec a bit bcs it was difficult to tell when she went so I don't think I changed her every time she went. It was a bit confusing for her. Plus they are really expensive (just depends how many you go through)

I just had a long trip, 6 flights total, with 11 mo DD. We used gdipes in regular cloth diaper covers for the actual days of travel, mostly so I didn't have to stress as much about it, though I did overflow one airport toilet by accident... That did suck, but otherwise they were great. Actually ob tge way out we had no misses at all the whole trip, probably because i was neurotically givibg her pottytunities pretty much every bathroom we passed. Well, that's an exahgeration but anyway. Once we got to our destination we went back to our routine and mostly did very well with EC while away from home. Good luck.
