Baby wearing in cold weather...

I prefer being under the same coat. With both of us individually bundled up it gets pretty bulky & uncomfortable.

Baby and wrap under coat. DD was born in Feb and her first 2 winters was dressed in a sweatshirt or fleece coat and then wrapped up under my coat. I did eventually get a Suse's Kindercoat and love having that option - and it's working great now that I'm pregnant (not babywearing). I also just finished a DIY fleece poncho for me and new baby. I think under coat keeps us warmer and I don't feel like I get a good wrap or tie (if a MT) over coats.

Under the same coat/sweatshirt. For one thing she would never fit over a coat in my fitted pouches and for another thing, body heat is the BEST!

It depends on baby's age and what we're going to be doing. When mine were under a year, I'd put them under the coat in the carrier. Once they got to the point that they could walk well enough to want up and down to play on the ground, I'd do both of us dressed warmly and baby worn outside my coat.
