Hale Look Up

I have to have a tooth pulled and need to know about 3 meds as I am breastfeeding my 10 week old. The three meds are: Valium, Cleocin and Darvocet. Would anyone be able to look these up for me in Medications and Mother's Milk, as my copy has to be shipped? Thank you soooo much!

If the valium is being used for sedation during the actual procedure, the dose is likely to be fairly high and it takes a while to clear out of your body, lorazepam (Ativan) and alprazolam (Xanax) which are also L3 as alternatives with shorter half lives. Personally I've had all 3 for various procedures and the valium was the least effective, as in we had to cancel the procedure and try again with xanax!
