Can you give me good questions to ask a homebirth midwife? Any HB mamma's willing to chat?

Considering a homebirth and interviewing several midwives over the next few weeks. I have no idea where to start with questions. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there any Mamma's who have done HBs that might want to get together or chat on the phone with ideas/thoughts regarding homebirths? I have no idea where to start. What kinds of questions do I need to ask? Thanks in advance!?

There are some questions to ask on the massmidwives.org website that might be helpful. There are also some in the Birth Professionals and Homebirth sections here in Birth and Beyond.

Also when you interview someone you can also ask for references and call those folks.

I had a HBA2C last October. I didn't have a ton of questions, mostly just interviewed to find someone I felt comfortable with. I had an amazing experience. I'd be more than happy to get together/chat if you'd like, feel free to send me a PM.

This is what the birth circles are great for. Keep checking the Mothers and Company Website if you are in Metrowest and you can get loads of info from HB moms.
