can you keep homemade spaghetti sauce in just the fridge? We just had spaghetti with homemade sauce for dinner and I pureed the leftover sauce for pizza night on friday or saturday- do you think the sauce still be good by then? I am thinking yes but just wanted some second opinions on this one Thanks!

I usually go about 5 days for leftovers, assuming that you didn't lick the spoon and stick it back in the pot. Esp. with it being a high acid food AND you'll be cooking it again, I think it would be fine.

Yeah, you should be fine. I don't start to question left overs for 5-7 days. And even then its just the smell test that they must pass

With meat in it, I'd keep it about five days. Without meat, I'd even go longer-- tomatoes are acid enough that it'll keep awhile.

If you're ever in doubt, you can always just taste it too and see if it's "off".
