Need HELP, ds knocked loose his tooth again!

My ds has knocked this tooth a few times and this time it is wiggly loose. We took him to the dentist and she is wanting us to let him wiggle it until it falls out. I would prefer to not have that happen, she did say the root is dissolving? It is a little gray from the first trauma when he was just 18 months he fell on the floor and damaged it then too. Is there any natural remedy to help the root heal?? I know it's not the end of the world to have him lose the tooth, but he is only 3 1/2 and i would like him to keep it for at least another year or two if possible.

TIA

My dd did this when she was about 3--knocked her tooth very loose (it was even bleeding at the gumline). Her dentist glued a little wire behind the front teeth, I think it went across the top four. This stabilized the tooth. The dentist still said it might come out, but she's five and half now, and she's still got it!

However, since your little guy has already injured the tooth a number of times, it may be that there's too much damage to try that method? Maybe you could call your dentist back and see if this is an option she'd consider.
