Hi--I'm looking for some recommendations for kids' materials in German. Not talking about actual language lessons, just stuff to increase exposure. I tried to find some at the library today and the kids' librarian suggested I put in some requests for material, so I want to try and come up with a few titles. German language songs seem like a good starting point since they would, I'm thinking, reinforce the German (okay, Germlish*) DS is hearing from us, in a fun, no-pressure way. Of course, if you have ideas for non-musical materials that would be appropriate for the very young (4), I'm open to those suggestions as well.
* Don't worry; we realize we're too inept to try immersion. We just speak German when we're trying to talk about him without him knowing what we're saying and he's starting to pick stuff up from that. . .
