Nursing smiles, he's growing up!

Keagan is really starting to interact and make a lot more eye contact- I love it! DS 1 is an amazingly easy child, but he wasn't a cooing smiling baby. He grins all the time now and is still So. Easy. but I am loving the interactive 'talking' and smiling I have with DS 2.

He's also rolling well on his own now and holding his head up without tiring so quickly. It feels like we're slowly moving out of 'newborn' and into 'baby' stage...

Ah congrats momma!

I, too, am loving the smiley happy baby. We chatter back and forth for what seems like an hour at a time. He's so talkative -- not that he has much choice. I'm in his face talking at him all day long :-)

Rowan's also starting to respond (not quite laughter... but close) to things like patty-cake... the rolly arms always make him smile... and tickles on the belly. A week ago he didn't do that. AH! It's all changing Too Fast!!

No rolls yet because he just can't handle tummy time. Maybe a minute before he yells at me. I've been kinda forcing it more and more, because his frustration is what is getting him closer to rolling over. But I figure, happy not rolling baby is OK with me for now :-) He'll get there.

Isn't this a blast?!?! :-)

Awww, love it all! Charlotte is downright LAUGHING now - it's absolutely the best....though it's always a surprise when she does it, and you can repeat the exact same thing and it won't make her laugh again, she's a mystery!

No rolling here either (at 3.5 months), she doesn't 'do' tummy time, but we just started using the exersaucer, she LOVES it...being upright and free makes her a very happy baby.

And she's absolutely loving the TV, I have to get some of those baby Einstein videos - I had some with Maddie, but Grace would never watch the TV so I got rid of them. Charlotte would just love them, and it would buy me 20 minutes to eat dinner without her in my arms, I think.
