EBF 2.5wk old not pooping

So my DD is 17days old and gaining great, but worrying me because shes not pooping "normally". She passed her meconium fine, went quickly to mustard yellow seedy stools. But starting around a week old her BMs were spaced out. When she does have them they are usually large and yellow (no mucus, green, smelliness. She is gaining great- born 7lbs 5oz, day 3 at BW, day 15 she was 8lbs 13oz. I have ample milk. Ped didn't seem concerned about her every 24hr BMs because her weight was great, and she seemed content. Her last poop was 11am 2days ago. Last night she was pretty fussy (unusual for her- she wanted to comfort nurse but was getting pissed at my milk flow). Shes been passing gas but no BM. Her stomach is a little distended but doesn't seem tender or overly hard.
Is this just normal for some babies? My DS pooped every nursing at this age (had oversupply with him too). When should I be concerned? Anyone else have newborns like this?

been there....

Liam is 10 weeks and starting at 3 weeks, he only poops every 2 days. Like clockwork. The BF Consultant said some do it 3 times a day, some do it every 3 days. He eats like a little moo moo and doesn't hunch over or complain about pains, no colic, so I don't worry- plus its been 7 weeks. If anything were going to go wrong, it would have already. Doctor was not concerned either.

My DS was a once a week pooper. My 7wk old DD seems to be a every 2 or 3 days pooper. Both EBF, both completely normal. With DS I freaked and went to the Ped who assured me it was normal, and that when solids were introduced, it would normalize, which it did. The colon can expand and baby poo is liquid, so it just expands and expands and expands until they finally get the urge to go. If your babe seems uncomfortable, you can use a suppository to get it moving sooner, which I did a few times when it had been a long time and was really obvious that Ds needed to poop to be comfortable.

Just because it is common doesn't mean it is normal. I personally would get a hold of some probiotics - specifically bifidus infantis - and give them to baby until pooping more than once a day. Not pooping often was an early sign that my girl's gut was messed up. I wish I had the knowledge when she was a babe to prevent the problems we went (and are still) going through.

Natren and Solaray are some good brands that make bifidus supplements:

As long as she isn't crying in pain needing to go and is unable, I wouldn't worry. Some babies just don't need to go as often as others, it just means she's efficiently using all the great stuff in your breastmilk and not making as much waste product!

When I went on the mini-pill after DD was born, she started having problems. I would have never guessed it was the hormones but as soon as I quit taking the pills, she went back to normal BF baby pooping. The same hormone in the mini-pill that made her constipated is the one that makes pregnant mamas constipated so it makes sense now.

Thanks ladies, she had a huge blow out today...I mean out the FBs, onto her blanket and my pants which then dripped onto the floor when I stood to change her. And she just had another good sized one now. She has a few green seeds in there but they are generally yellow.
I emailed the LC at my birth center about her issues and shes suggested block feeding (which I've been through with DS) Hopefully tonight she'll sleep better so I can.
And I'm not on the pill or anything so its not that. I know when EBF babes are older the weekly poop is fine but this young it just worried me especially since she seemed uncomfortable. Poor babe.
