OP here, thanks for all of your information. Didn't realize this thread was still going, we didn't breed him (obviously) as I had no idea what I was getting into (obviously) ... And am glad I did ask questions, I can deal with a couple snarky responses.

I think the point is that people do not have to be hateful to get their point across. I too decided not to breed my dog after reading all the information, but I am really turned off by SOME of the responses. I can "handle" the responses, but it doesn't mean I like them or think they are appropriate.

I agree, and it just makes me less likely to post in the pets forum in the future.
