When did your restless/noisy sleeper settle down?

My 3-month-old is SO NOISY and restless when he sleeps at night. I finally had to try moving him to the co-sleeper because otherwise he kicks me all night. Turns out he settles down in the co-sleeper, for the most part. He still moves/squirms/kicks a lot and makes a TON of noise -- but it's a lot less than when he's in bed with me. Grunts, snorts, sighs. All night long. Even in his crib in the other room, he sets off the monitor several times an hour with all the noise and movement.

My older son was a quiet sleeper that didn't move much, so this is new to me. If you had this loud/squirmy model, did they ever settle down? At what age?

has he always been noisy and restless? my 3.5 month old was noisy in the beginning but then settled down at about 2 months (so much so that I was constantly checking on him to make sure he was ok) but since he started teething he has gotten noisy and restless at night.

Yep, he's been loud from the start. I've got him on one side, snoring, and my husband on the other side, snoring!

Well, he'll be three in February and he hasn't calmed down yet. He's not very noisy for the most part but he moves constantly! I've watched him move in a 180 degree circle in a matter of 30 minutes. It was impressive

my little guy is 7 months old and he is still a noisy sleeper. im constantly getting up to check on him. i usually put him in bed with us around 6 am. he does not move around in the bed like he does in the crib and he sleeps quietly in the bed with us. i get a much better sleep when he is with us in the morning, even if it is only for a few hours.

I'll try to give you some hope - my ds was noisy from birth but I want to say that somewhere right before 6 months he stopped the huffing and puffing and tossing and turning in his sleep. He'll still do it when he's falling asleep but once asleep he's quiet and still
