Looking for a book about the founding fathers and their views of religion and govt.

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a book to get my dh about the founding fathers and their personal religious views and their views about religion and govt, religion impacting govt decisionmaking etc. A book that is an easy read and that contains direct quotes from some of our early presidents. Suggestions?

I would think books about individual Presidents would discuss that subject a bit better. The FF were all over the map.

I've had "The Faiths of the Founding Fathers" on my shelf for ages now, and have been meaning to read it. It's supposed to be very interesting. It's by David L Holmes.
