DD is pretty hit or miss with solids. One day she will eat heartily. On another she will barely touch the same food. We are ok with that and just want to follow her lead.
About 10 days ago DD was sick. She vomited twice, all milk. We skipped solids for a few days while her tummy was upset. Once we started back, she just doesn't care. Roasted sweet potatoes, turkey, chicken, all barely nibbled. I also tried yogurt for one meal and prunes for another. She used to insist on feeding herself even when it was something that required a spoon, but she wouldn't even do that. She really needed to eat those prunes so I gave her the bowl to play with figuring that the mess would be worth it if just some ended up inside. Nothing.
Today we had her favorite. I sliced up a pear. She was going crazy when she saw it on the counter. She only nibbled 2 slices. I've seen this girl eat an entire pear in one sitting. Its really the only thing she eats a ton of.
She is peeing and pooping plenty. She is clearly gaining weight. Nurses without problem.
So I tell myself I should not worry. Its a phase and in a few days she will be back to turning slices of steak into grey slimy messes.
And yet this is my first so I worry.
