How would I pursue this (advice, please) - Page 2

There is a very popular tutor in our area that has booked out 40 hrs/ week through our homeschool group. Basically, people contact her for group/ or single family classes that they work out with her. Some people use her for teaching reading, some for math, some for a group topic of interest. Once she became known in our homeschooling group, she seemed to become very successful. So, perhaps concentrate on finding a homeschool group and making a connections to people in that group and getting word out through them that you are available.

Also, people that offer science workshops in their home also seem to be very popular here too.

I too would contact homeschool groups in your area. If you do a google search you will come up with many. Also, Time4Learning has a parent forum that you can join without paying for their classes. In the parent forum, there is a link for each state. You can contact the moderator for your state about being listed on the resource page for that state. In New Jersey the moderator is Fairylover. Oh yeah, that's me.
