My DD has the Nicki doll made my Kathe Kruse. She's 9.5 months old and is really starting to love on it. It's pretty small, so it may be just as small as the one you already have.

The one she's getting is 4 inches longer and is shaped more like a baby. She's getting it tomorrow, I'm excited to see it in real life!

We just got a doll for our 7-month-old DD for Christmas - DH decided he wanted Santa to bring her one gift at least. We went to Ten Thousand Villages to look for a fair trade one and we found the most perfect thing ever - a "twin doll" - it's made by a women's coop that supports mothers with disabled children in Harare, Zimbabwe. It has an all-natural cloth body, very soft and simple, and the doll has a "twin" that lives in Zimbabwe, which the cooperative donates to a child living with HIV/AIDS. She loves it! I had to hide it so she wouldn't want to play with it before "Santa" brings it on Christmas!!!

I also bought a doll from Palumba for DS. He chose June from the girl dolls. I'm really excited. She came already and is beautiful. DS is out with DH today....has his current vinyl baby with him, in a playsilk-made-sling, with a prefold and preemie PJs on. What a kid!!
