Just wanted to add my dh's cute story. He told me just yesterday that two people at his work were trying to discourage him from HS'ing our children. I asked him if they went the very basic and very uneducated route of "they won't be socialized and normal" He said that's exactly what they were saying. So his response to them:
"So what you are saying is that you would rather your child have social skills than be academically smart?"
He said they didn't really know what to say after that. LOL My husband knows the reasons we homeschool and that the children get plenty of socialization etc. But he's not one to argue about things that sound stupid to him. (Unlike me). So he's very to the point. Gotta love that guy!
