help-are my diapers ruined?

soo our washing machine broke and all of our diapers sat in the pail for a week and a half. washed them used them, then they sat in the pail for 2-3 weeks. now all of them leak. it's not through the sides but through the crotch area, like none of the waterproof (PUL) is waterproof anymore. a tiny bit water resistant, yeah, but only a tiny bit. Is there some thing I don't know about leaving diapers in a pail to long?

I will be so sad if i truly ruined my entire size medium stash! and in now way shape or form to i have the money to replace a whole stash. (side rant) we have christmas, birthday party's for all three girls, the oldest is szing up in clothes and we have a list of crap we have to get thats a mile freaking long. I could cry)

Ive never heard of that happening my cousin left hers for a couple weeks & didnt have a problem. How old are your dipes? When you washed them did you throw them threw the drier? If not id try that otherwise im at a loss hope someone has good advise.

most of them are at least 3-ish years old. i did put them through the dryer.

Ive had pull dry & crackle in as short as 1yr on certain dipes & others that are a couple yrs old & are great maybe the pull is worn out. Can you see where pee is seeping threw maybe you can rewater proof them somehow but im not sure how.

I would try stripping, using vinegar and other things like that - don't give up on them! I doubt they are really ruined

i use vinegar and washing soda in every load. i peeked in some of them that i can see to the pul. one is crackled, but the other two look fine. someone said somethign about nikwax, has anyone ever used it?
