My gifts this year to everyone is a glass bottle of homemade extract that I started "brewing" in July I do have a Tahitian SIL who gets me beans....that is an awesome benefit!

I buy organic vanilla beans on ebay (i think it was like $25 for a pound) and then stick them in vodka. We do a lot of baking here and its totally worth it, it going to make some as presents this year too.
