Best bottle most like the breast for when I'm away from LO - Page 2

I hope they work for you too! Noone wants a hungry baby, at the least maybe she'll take enough to tide her over until you get home!

My daughter never had expressed milk, but she'd drink some of my water from a straw or from a regular cup by that age (with a lot of our help in the case of the latter, of course). If nothing else is working, that might be worth a shot.

I use the Nuby Bottles with my baby. They had some really good reviews for going between the breast and bottle. I only use them if I have to go somewhere and leave my DS at home for a few hours with dad. Otherwise my DS is EBF. He switches back and forth between those really well. Good luck finding something that works

It is ok... with members being diligent like this and maybe a tad extreme we can keep being crunchy and are making AP come back in style. We should be thankful for such members on MDC.

There is nothing wrong with extreme advice when taken in moderation

When my now 5yr old ds was a baby and the few times I had to be away he did well on the straw sippy cups, he wanted NOTHING to do with a bottle or regular sippy cups but the straw sippy worked great for him My now 8m old ds does good on playtex nursers... the brown latex not silicone though I use the playtex latex nipples on the playtex wide mouth ventaire since I didn't want to have to buy the dropin liners and the nipple works just fine on the playtex ventaire. My ds used a kelan kanteen with the sippy adapter or just a cup at that age I hope you find something that works for you! ds was very hard to please with sippys as well. Thats why alot of the time a cup was our best bet..
