Research sources needed

My stbx wants me to give him sources and show him research that states eating lean meats is bad for your health. I am trying to raise our daughter vegan but he insists that anything in moderation is fine......I disagree. So on the days he has for visitation he'd gladly feed her soda, fake fruit juices, chemical and poop laced burgers, etc. He knows that eating meat contributes to a higher incidence of colon cancer, high blood pressure, etc....but he says that's due to the fat content in the meats and that he would feed her lean cuts.

Does anyone have links to credible sources?

contact the woman who writes this blog, i bet she could help veganmothering.blogspot.com

my ex is the same way. but i have avoided issues by choosing my battles and sending food along with ds, stuff i know he loves to eat and then ex is too lazy to fix him something different.

Do you have a ped you trust? If nothing else I am pretty sure you could get a letter documenting that fries, soda and hanburgers are not healthy.
That way you would have documentation from a medical doctor that what he is doing is harming your DD's health.

Sending food along is a good idea. He's lazy too, so that should at least decrease the amount of junk he feeds her. I'll try contacting the blogger as well.

wytchywoman....no, I don't have a ped I trust. And I'm sure mine would laugh at my face if I asked him to write a letter saying that. Our daughter's ped is my ex's ski buddy (they both work at the same hospital).

That really bites! There's no way you could change peds to someone that you both think is neutral enough to tell the truth without any agendas going on?
