Sexy while BFing Question

I just can't get over how much I'm thankful for you ladies here!!!

...

I'm a BFing mother of a 10 month old chunky monkey little girl. She cosleeps/bedshares with us, but we've finally figured out how to bring the intimacy back into our marriage after she was born.

My husband asked me if I could get bras that would be more sexy, though. I used to wear Victoria Secret's Very Sexy push ups, and since BFing I just wear a softcup regular bra that I pull down under my breast when BFing. I didn't like the BFing bras at Motherhood and didn't know where else to look.

Do you know of any BF friendly brands that are sexy at all? Has anyone heard of a BFing pushup (not for DH, but for me. I like them. He doesn't require that at all)

I'm very blessed that he still thinks (ahem, he says he knows) that my breasts are super sexy, but I do want more than just white and nude...

Thanks

Don't know if these would be too big for you, but I love the nursing bras from here, and most are available in other colors:

I'm a 34D, so there was only one there I could buy. Thanks so much for the link!

I'm not sure how widely available they are internationally, but ABA (the australian breastfeeding association) were advertising a range called "hot milk" not so long ago - VERY nice lacy sets with various styles and so on. Maybe google for it?

You probably don't want push up pads or underwire in a bra that you wear all day, but you could probably get a couple of "sexy" bras that you only wear for a few minutes.

bravadodesigns.com has some sexier models too - I only have their basic Original Nursing bra but I love it a lot

Gah! My links didn't freaking work...so just check out Target.com, they have a decent selection (better than motherhood, IMO). I really wish victorias secret would come out with a maternity lingerie/nursing line...but hah, that is unlikely!

Huge selection at nursing bras at http://birthandbaby.com/

I just ordered some from them and they're awesome; great fitting advice and an excellent return policy.

Also, a company called Condessa has some nice bras; I couldn't get ahold of one that fit me though.

At some point I just stopped wearing nursing bras, maybe after DS was 12 or 15 months or so. Nowadays we do less nursing in public, and I find it pretty easy to just pop out of a regular bra, especially if it's a demi cup.

Yeah, I have been able to do that with the soft-cups I wear now, but they didn't come in any flirty colors. When I get flirty colored ones (at VS) they're always too formed to pull down well.

I may have to just hit up some other stores.

*just noticed ALL the replies*

Thanks so much! I'm going to check out all of those posts.

I do have some "special" bras that are super sexy, but I think I (and definitely DH) would love to just be able to wear something cuter all day.

In "protest" I've been wearing my Very Sexy bras lately. Emma's doing pretty good nursing in spite of the push up at her chin...poor baby.

I like bravado bodysilk seamless bra, it's not sexy, but comfy. bravado makes other styles that are prettier too, but i haven't tried them so i can't speak to comfort. i have tried a TON of different brands though and haven't found anything more comfortable than bravado, so if i were you, i'd start there.

That's what I was going to say.. Victorias Secret made nursing bras, but didn't advertise them at all, and they were really difficult to find on the website. Since no one knew about them, they weren't a big hit didn't sell very well, and wound up being discontinued. :/

I used these instructions for converting bras.
This site has similar instructions and sells actual nursing bra clasps, but they're kind of pricey.
If you can sew, know someone who can, or have a tailor nearby, that might be worth a shot.
