Hi mamas! Hope you're all enjoying the holiday season
.
DD will be 8-months-old next week. She is EBF and has never had a bottle. I started introducing solids (purees) when she was about 6 1/2-months-old but she didn't show much interest. I still offer every now and then, but don't push the issue.
As she gets older, what kinds of foods would be good to offer other than purees? I feel like at this stage it's not really necessary, and she does have 6 teeth (2 bottom/4 top).
And I must confess, I am a vegetarian and I am the world's pickiest veggie eater
! So I really need help in the veggie suggestion department! Finger foods, smoothies, snacks, anything you have success with, I would really appreciate it!
I found myself getting a little overwhelmed with books, and I know I shouldn't because it's just food. I also know I should stop listening to my mother who says I'm going to run into problems because I'm waiting too long to get DD going with food
. When did your LO's become interested in solid food?
TIA!!!
