Hi: Not sure since this is a nap question if it should go here.
My DS, 7 months today, cries in arms, to sleep for every nap (and at night, oh nights are a whole nother story). We rock him to sleep in the glider after i nurse him (since he does not fall asleep at the breast 90% of the time).
I know that in arms is not CIO, but still, it just seems bad that he does this much crying, its many times 15+ minutes.
He will also cry if i just put him down (i have tried since i thought that maybe he just does not like to be rocked).
Is this bad? It just seems like so much crying, and that can't be good for a developing brain. I know in arms is different than alone, but still, every nap, everyday?
What else can i do anyway? Its like he just hates sleep. He has always been this way. I do try and catch the first sleepy signal, so i don't think that he's overtired as the reason. He does not fall alseep in a sling anymore either.
Thoughts?
