thyroid test results

Thread Starter
I have severe low milk supply. I have been doing all things possible to up my supply. DomP has worked very minimally. I got my doctor to check me for thyroid issues. The results say I have a TSH level of 2.764. It seems normal according to the permissable limit but some information out there says this level means I might become hypothyroid in the future. My doctor has not called me to say this needs to be investigated further. What do you helpful people think? Should I insist more with my doctor? I had to insist a lot in the first place for the test itself.
Thanks

I would check out the site Stop the Thyroid Maddness. A lot of doctors don't do a very good job at catching it. I had to go to a private practice to get mine treated. If your doctor isn't responding I'd look for another one. Even if your levels aren't really high (the higher they are the more hypo it is) you could still have hypothyroid.
