Hi! My 27 month old son Leo is a very, very avid nurser. He generally breastfeeds about 5-6 times at night and every hour or so during the day. Much of this is comfort nursing, but he gets a good feed of milk probably 7-8 times in 24 hours.

Last night I noticed that he would change breasts when the letdown started-not switch nursing- but he would stop nursing, go to the other side and not even swallow. He has done this all day today too, and we experienced this last month too for about three days. He said "Jacob's milk tastes better" when I asked him why he wasn't drinking. Jacob is is friend who drinks rice milk out of a sippy.
I am not pregnant, and not menstruating and I can't discern any differend in the taste of my milk.
Does anyone have ideas about how to handle this?? I'm just at a loss about what to do or say. Otherwise he is at the breast just as much as before but just won't swallow! (He is eating fine otherwise). Such a mystery!

Thank you for any information/stories/help!
