Hanna Andersson Sizing and Cloth Diapers- Help!

I am going to get a few sleepers from HA for my 16 month old for Christmas. He is 33" and 31# (approx) which would make him a size 90 cm. I know that HA runs true to size but is it roomy enough for a cloth diaper to fit under it comfortably?

TIA!!

I'm guessing they will fit just fine over a cloth diaper. My DS is 2.5, 30+ lbs and can wear Hanna PJ's in a size 90 w/a bulky diaper. His jammies are two piece, the stripped ones - and the fabric is stretchy. Not sure how the one-piece's fit, but I assume they would work.

Thank you for the quick reply! Do you prefer two piece PJs to one piece? DS is wearing T-shirts and diapers to bed but he's starting to get cold at night and wake up (he kicks off the covers on our bed) so I want to do actual PJs. I just looked at sleepers because I think they are cute- are 2 piece more functional in your opinion?

I personally like the 2 pieces over the 1 once they are over 12 months or so. They just seem to fit longer.

I have had this same issue with my son, who is 20 months, about 27 lb and 33 inches. I have found that the 90cm PJ's, which are made to be very close fitting are too tight over his cloth diapers, even the less bulky daytime diapers. The 90 cm regular pants fit great and he wears 80cm shirts. I especially like their sweatpants! They are very comfortable for sleeping in.

If you're talking about the one-piece zip-up HA's, I'd go one size up if your little one is long-waisted at all. My dd is, and when she was younger HA's were a little tight with a clothie underneath.

Hanna Andersson clothing TOTALLY fits the cloth diaper butt! It fits the best of anything else I've tried actually! I haven't had to size up on one piece items or separates.

Update: the 90 cm size works perfectly for DS with every single cloth diaper we've used overnight. Yippie! Cute too

I thought I'd mention, My DS got a 2 piece pair of PJs for Xmas - They are H&M but look like the popular HA stripe PJs and boy are they roomy! he is 10 mo and the PJs are 12-18 (what I usually buy now) and can accommodate a night dipe with room to grow - plus they are organic cotton. I am really impressed with the quality to be honest, If you have an H&M in the area, these jams are way worth it.
