Hooray for babywearing! I mean toddler-wearing!

It's been probably two months since I've worn my toddler. She mostly walks and I carry her, or if I'm on a walk to get exercise she rides in the stroller. (Started that when it was hot, now that it's colder I may go back to wearing her, we'll see!) Anyway, yesterday my mom and I were doing some Christmas shopping and looking around, and I decided to put Hannah in the Ergo. (She's 20 months old today.) That was the best idea I've had in a long time! We went into stores and looked at things, bought things, then left! She loved being up high, and no one had to chase her around the store! We waited in line to see Santa, and she was quite content on my back. We even went into one of my favorite stores, that is all really nice and really breakable pieces of local art. (Wouldn't have gone in there otherwise!) After our time downtown, Mom and I got in the car and we both commented on how we were not exhausted, when we would have been otherwise! The back carry for us is more comfortable now that she's a little bigger. Yippeeee!!!!!

Good for you! It's absolutely waaaay easier to have a toddler up on your back than running around in stores or crowded areas, in my opinion!
