Dear M - I feel compelled to respond because I suffered vaccine-induced encephalitis from a tetanus shot. I have read thousands of books, medical papers and articles about the dangers of vaccines since then. My children are not vaccinated, my sister's adult children were never vaccinated and they grew up with a barn, horses, animals, 4H and plenty of rusty nails.
Once when my son had to go to the ER when he was 2 for cutting his hand by handling an opened tomato-sauce can, we were being pressured to get the tetanus booster. I explained how I had a severe reaction to tetanus but they kept pushing. My husband who was "on the fence", insisted on seeing the vaccine package insert. We read it in its entirety. My husband then exclaimed to the doctor, "No way in hell will you be injecting that into my child, get us the discharge papers, we are going home." The insert not only tells you about the animal tissues they grow the tetanus on, it says they do not test the vaccine for the varying forms of Hepatitis or any "unknown" diseases or viruses that may in fact be in the animal tissue. They claim that they cannot be responsible for any dieases contracted or any adverse effects from the vaccine!! Keep in mind, the SV-40 virus carried in monkeys and used to grow the early polio vaccines was not killed off by the Thimerisol or any of the "cleaning" agents in the vaccine and SV-40 was transmitted (unknowingly) to humans for years! So aside from the usual list of side affects from the vaccine ingredients, you have the unknown disease in the vaccine that could some day cause great harm.

Please do not be pushed into doing a vaccine out of fear. Your doctor is basing his/her opinion on a faulty paradigm and information learned from medical school that is based on incomplete and incorrect science. This tetanus vaccine nearly killed me and you DO NOT want to purposely inject something that may cause harm - it is playing Russian Roulette with your child’s life. Be armed with KNOWLEDGE and you will feel better about your decisions.
