Just caught the episode with Josie, and I was crying so hard by the end. I know that so far she is doing good, but watching her entrance into the world and seeing how tiny she is just really got to me.

Anybody else surprised that they actually showed Michelle's c-section? I was shocked considering how modest they are. They never even allow the cameras to film the jelly-on-the-belly during the ultrasounds.

I had not even thought of that..but that is a very good point! Actually, I don't think I would let anyone see MY c-section if I ever have to have another one..eww

When the whole family was meeting baby Josie, there were a couple older girls with them who aren't Duggars. Any one know who they are? (It wasn't grandma, cousin Amy, etc.)

I sure hope Josie doesn't have too many complications. She is so tiny....

One of them was a girl that the family semi-adopted lol. That isn't the right way to explain it, but she lost her Dad awhile ago, and so Jim-Bob stepped in to be a bit of a father figure when he could. They explained more of it in the episode, "Duggars and Daughters". She is a friend of the older girls in the family and every once in awhile you see glimpses of her in episodes.

Hahaha, mine was the opposite! When Josh was talking about how it was 30 degrees there so they were so excited to be going to Florida where it was 80, all I could think was, "30 degrees? That's barely below freezing! Stop making a big deal over nothing!"



When they showed the tape of them getting engaged again, I was shocked at how much they have matured. Part of it is that Anna seems more comfortable in front of cameras, but Josh doesn't annoy me nearly as much as he used to!

I'm born & raised in FL, so maybe that's part of my shock lol

I noticed how comfortable she is in front of the cameras too! Josh almost couldn't get a word in lol

So, if you weren't already unsure about taking an airplane ride before getting on the plane, you'd probably be after the engine took a couple of tries to get going lol

I think Anna and Josh are terribly adorable with all their kissing. "We're making up for what we missed during our engagement!"
My DD was watching the show with me last night, and she said "Mama! Look at how much they love each other! That makes me happy."
And I also love the sling, though I couldn't figure out if it was a ring sling, or something different.

I thought it was weird that Jill took such a lead--kind of surprising. But it seems like John David and Jana aren't really that in to the cameras like Josh, for example. Jessa seems mildly annoyed by the questions but accepting of them. Good for Jill, though. I was surpised by how tired Anna seems. Someone commented earlier that Josh seems to dominate her, but it seems like she's just exhausted by their first child. (Not speculation! Really--she indicated that Jordyn STTN while they were watching her but Makenzie (sp?) kept them up till 3:00 a.m.)

I'm such a sucker. I mean fan!

I think it was a padded ring sling. I saw the shoulder area in one of the shots while they were sitting on the plane and I couldn't see the rings it did look like the padded shoulder was folded or pleated into what could be rings.

Josh annoys me much less than he used to and I agree that Anna seems more confident and comfortable on camera now. I do think it's sweet how affectionate they are with each other.

Does anyone know where I can find episodes online? We cut our cable and I absolutely adore this show, cried so much for the special delivery of Josie.

awww. I haven't seen the shows that aired last night but I have them recorded.

I agree with someone else that Josh seems so much more down to earth and nice on the newer episodes. I liked watching last weeks show where Josh and Anna were helping to watch the Duggars kids while they were in the hospital having Josie. I could tell they were getting to see firsthand how it would be if they were to start having a lot of kids. They looked a bit frazzled.

My favorite part was when one of the younger daughters was hanging from the staircase and Anna running over trying to stay calm while still go as fast as possible to make sure she didn't fall.

All I could think was, "Been there, Done that"... my one niece (I am wanting but waiting, but lived with my nieces while they were young), was always up to something like that.

I liked that part with the staircase too. I also liked her getting the younger boy to see how high he could count until his cut stopped stinging. I'll have to keep that idea in mind for when my son's that age lol.

Well, they both grew up in large families, but now that they are married and have a babe they are looked at more as other grown-ups and not as siblings. I've noticed with my much younger BIL that our opinions have only marginally greater weight than his parents .

I enjoyed seeing the kids take food to the police, sheriff and FD. That was really nice. I couldn't see me and my siblings doing that kind of stuff on our own at that age. And they were all so cheerful.

i really enjoyed the now show! i think it so great that they all come together in an time of need! i like how they allow the 'real' toll of everything to come out, but they do it with such grace and prayer. they just amaze me
