can someone recommend some food options

i'm looking for somewhat healthy vegetarian food options that don't need to be kept cool (no refrigeration, but will have moderate house temp of 65*) and can be kept fo up to 5 days
can be warmed up by microwave

i've thought of stuff liked canned pasta, soup, crackers, granola

any good suggestions for protein

Protein shakes might also be a good option- either the ready-to-drink cans or the powders that need to be mixed up. I'd think the cans are probably easier if you don't want to walk all the way to the kitchen or fuss with washing containers.

Do you need vegan or just vegetarian items? Most of the shakes contain dairy, although a few are soy-based and dairy free.

Sorry, I didn't read your siggie.
Is there a canned vegetable broth you can buy for making rice and quinoa?
Buckwheat groats could be cooked in the microwave.
Cream of rice or cream of wheat could be cooked in the microwave.
There are now some vegan pahd thai instant noodles available at some stores. (We bought some for DS1 in case of "emergency" bc of his food allergies.) They contain a little bit of soy (not sure if that's a concern).

A friend of mine made a vegetarian chili using leftover quinoa, some beans, canned tomatoes, some onion, celery and spices in the microwave.
I've also seen vegan "jerky", though I'm sure that's not something you (nor I) would want to live on.
Could you put a toaster nearby so you could make toasted sandwiches?
