Home Water Birth of a BIG boy!

This was my first home birth, quite possibly my last, but a good labor/delivery!
Nolan was 10lbs. and 2 oz. 22" long and was born on October 9th, 2009.

My birth story is up on my blog now- we lost Nolan later on that night- but it is not discussed in the post, just FYI.

I just really wanted to focus on the positive and share the story of the homebirth, which was amazing, even if the outcome was not what we wanted.

Congrats on a wonderful birth story. I am sorry Nolan couldn't be with you longer...but it sounds like you had a wonderful birth, and I know you will see Nolan again!

What a beautiful journey. Nolan is a beautiful boy born into a wonderful, warm family. Thank you for sharing his birth story. I am so glad you were able to spend some time with him earthside.
