Two month BF check-in. Does this sound right?

Nora is 10 weeks tomorrow and it seems that she is definitely going longer between feedings (probably three hours and she'll even stretch to four). She's still only eating actively for about 10-15 minutes per feeding though. I just sort of let her hang out for 30-45 minutes and she'll suck here and there, but usually she'll end up spitting up a lot afterwards.

She has a bunch of wet/poopy diapers so her output is good. She doesn't seem overly fussy during or right after feedings. She's gotten pretty relaxed actually and even when she IS hungry, she'll just sort of "whine" and doesn't scream or anything. At almost 8 weeks old, she weighed 10lb, 6oz (7.12 at birth) and the midwife was fine with that. She's definitely grown since then too.

So I guess I just want to make sure that it's okay that she's only really eating for 15 minutes per feeding, but going longer in between feedings. I'm pretty sure my let-down is pretty good since it seems to come pouring out pretty quickly even when I'm pumping. Is it just that she gets a lot right away and doesn't need more? My first dd used to eat for 30-40 minutes at a time...

That can be okay.
I had a similar difference between children -- first nursed all the time and woke frequently to feed. Second nursed every three hours for about 10 minutes, slept 6-8 hours straight at night, and slept the whole time he wasn't nursing.

They were both healthy and well.

my first nursed for only about five minutes at a time. some babies are just more efficient than others. as long as your baby is peeing and pooping, growing and not crying, which you indicate is the case, it sounds like you are doing a wonderful job!
