11 Month Old Grinding Teeth - Help

Hi all,

My ds is grinding his teeth. It's making my blood run cold. Any suggestions on how to get him to stop? He seems to think its pretty funny.

DD does this from time to time. She is 19 months old. The sound is rather irritating. LOL

Is he doing it unconsciously? If so, he could be low in zinc. Or have digestive issues? Yeast can cause this.

If he is just doing it b/c you react I would try ignoring him and see if it's a behavioral thing.

If it's not just a new fun thing to try, maybe low magnesium? I used to grind/clench my teeth and it was related to me needing more magnesium. But both my kids did it for a bit when they were little, I think they liked the sound, which I find incredibly irritating.
