On the lighter side of breastfeeding. . .tanks, nursing shirts, bras?? What do you wear the most? - Page 2

Add me to the cami list! I wear a cami (sometimes a nursing one, sometimes not) under all my shirts. And, even though some of them have built in bras, I still wear a nursing bra underneath it since the built in isn't supportive enough.

I never bought any nursing shirt or gowns or anything.

I just wear regular bras and clothing. I've tried a few nursing bras and they were fine, but I just prefer my regular clothes. I just layer a cami under whatever I'm wearing so I can lift up my shirt without exposing my belly. I never found nursing wear to be necessity, though I don't have huge boobs so that might make a difference.

Target, here I come. Thank you for all your feedback.

I wear the sleep bras and "sports" bra style bras from Motherhood 90% of the time. If I'm going out and want a little more support I wear a nursing bra, but have yet to find one that is really comfortable.
I've looked at the nursing tops, and would like one, but they're sooo expensive!

In the beginning, I used Bravado! nursing bras. They were excellent.

After my boobs deflated (does that sound weird?) I switched to Glamourmom nursing tanks. I have 3, and they were and are pretty much a staple under anything I wear.

Next I went back and forth between the nursing tops and a low-cut v-neck top with a regular (non-nursing) bra. Hanes makes a great no-underwire bra with removable straps that I've used as a nursing bra.

Now that my son has figured out that he can pull down any top and expose me just about anywhere we happen to be, and also picks at my birth marks on my chest, I wear a cami, with or without bra, under a high-neck sweater. The cami does not have a built-in shelf because I don't like the pressure on my ribs -- reminds me too much of being pregnant. I guess I can get away with it since I'm a B-cup on a good day.

I'm on my 4th nursling and I've consistently used simple cotton nursing bras and nursing tanks. The target nursing bras and tanks are nice and affordable. I think I use these tanks the most at the moment with the Glamourmom tanks coming in second. You can get the Glamourmom tanks for around $20 on their site under "limited editions" or something like that.

I don't think you need nursing shirts but they are convenient sometimes and I have a few that I really like from motherwear and a wonderful fleece Boob nursing top. They are especially nice in winter so no belly is exposed.

I nurse all the time in public and while nursing bras/clothing is not essential, it's convenient and can help if you're modest.

I've bought new Glamourmom tanks in fun colors (stripes!) off Ebay for around $15 including shipping.

I hate my Target nursing tanks I feel overexposed and I have to wear a bra with it if i'm going anywhere because it gives NO support.

After trying probably 2 dozen different nursing tanks my most recent and favorite althought it's expensive is Melinda G Cami Sutra™ Nursing Cami it's long it has a real bra built in and its super supportive. I wear it under anything I want to wear out and it makes all my cloths nursing friendly.

As far as nursing bras go I love the ones at JCPennys http://www2.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx...arch1Prod=True

I wear nursing bras.
I'd love to own a nursing tank from Bravado or Glamourmom but their super pricey.
I don't like Target's style of nursing tank

I wear tank tops exclusively. I hated nursing tops, maybe because I didn't buy the really expensive kind, but they never worked for me. It seemed less complicated to just wear a tank top and pull it down to nurse, during the winter I wear a sweater, sweatshirt, etc. over it. I'm quite small chested if that makes a difference.

Another cami under shirt person here. It works well for me, since I didn't want to buy a whole new wardrobe! I also wear a nursing bra underneath that.

Momzelle nursing tops !

I agree with Mambera: Momzelle nursing tops (www.momzelle.com) are much better than the other ones I have. I have three Momzelle (the v-neck tee and two long sleeves tops) and can't imagine my life without them anymore.
