So I use G Diapers and am a big fan. Although I don't like the fact that I can't use the toilet to flush it down or compost it because I live in an apartment. So to be even more ecofriendly I decided I wanted to use their hemp cloth inserts. But was astounded when I saw that I had to pay close to sixty dollars for just twelve inserts!
I was planning on using the cloth at the house and when we went out to use the biodegradable refills [for the convenience of throwing them away] but I just didn't want to spend THAT much money on cloth inserts.
So I went to walmart for some holiday shopping and they hard Gerber Organic cloth diapers on sale for eleven dollars for twelve! And guess what..you can fold them up and they fit PERFECTLY in the snap in liner. They are also pretty absorbent and it's a much more affordable.
Just wanted to let you guys know in case you were planning on buying the hemp inserts but didn't want to pay such a high price.
The only downside is the gerber organic diapers are cotton. Hemp is MUCH more absorbent than cotton.
