Hi Ladies:
My name is Isabel. I am so excited to join this forum. I am happy to find a place to share my interest in holistic parenting. I hope to make new friends and to learn from all of you. My husband is in the Navy and I have a 3 year old daughter. We are getting ready for another 6 month deployment. Not very excited but I am looking forward to new challenges and to learn from them. I a working mom (by necesity), so I am always looking for ways to have meaningful moments with my "little monkey" at home. Now that I am here, I was wondering if any of you know of any good homeschooling material.
I know that my daughter is still young, but I would love to start checking and getting ready for when her time comes to go to school. Also I would possibly be getting the flu shot (Is being forced in my place of work, and I can't afford to loose my job now), does anybody know what can I do to reduce my chances of any side effect?? Any way to increase my immunity??. My daughter is not getting one.....but I would love your suggestions.
