Jack turned one last month, and still nurses all the time. I am very happy that I found Mothering early in my pregnancy and that because of the support on MDC I feel confident and happy with our nursing relationship continuing for a long while yet.

I know it's not a big deal to nurse past the first birthday in this community, but it's a big deal in my IRL community. I'm already starting to feel odd and I know sometimes I get strange looks from people in public. But it makes us both happy so I'm ready to defend it!

My DD just turned one a few days ago and I feel the same way as you!!! It's a big milestone, celebrate it!!
