Law & Order - Murder trial for non-vax???

Am I the only one watching Law & Order right now OUTRAGED that they are trying a mother for murder for her unvaccinated son giving the measles to another child (who died)??? As someone who selectively vaxed her kids for most things, I find this show incredibly offensive and full of outrageous false claims! This show is absurd!

I'm not watching, but I can't say I am surprised. I finally got to watch a movie this week that I had been wanting to watch for awhile (Away We Go). It's about this couple who are expecting their first child and trying to decide where to live, so they are visiting various family and friends. They visit a friend who practices "extreme" AP and they are made to look ridiculous.

The media just doesn't seem to be too keen on many "alternative parenting" practices.

I missed the beginning of the show but caught the end. I can't figure out why, if the other child was vaccinated, it was the unvaccinated child's fault that she got sick? The whole premise that the vaccine is supposed to prevent the disease but the child with the vaccination got the disease....well, I just didn't get the blaming.

But I did miss the beginning of the show, so I might have missed vital info.
