ergo back carry and diaper rash?

Has anyone seen an increase in diaper rash when using the ergo as a back carry for long periods of time (well long enough for grocery shopping..not hours and hours). I was just wondering if there was a coloration. My DS has slight diaper rashes off and on and it seems to be on the days where I back carry often in the ergo. He never really got it while being front carried. Or he doesn't get it when I side carry with my hotsling. Just wondering?

no corrolation here. DH wears ds in the ergo for hours and we haven't had any increase or change in diaper rash issues

Definitely no correlation noticed here, but it may be that your ds has more sensitive skin and needs more frequent diaper changes or a diaper strip if you're using cloth. I'd make sure his outer clothes are as breathable as possible too.
