Hey folks. I have a question.
Our washer is broken. It is the landlord's responsibility to fix it, but hubby doesn't want to call him because we're behind on the rend and the landlord is being nice about that so doesn't want to stress him while we're catching up. (And we ARE catching up, so that's not a HUGE issue)
I take clothes to the MIL's every once in a while, and hubby has done laundry at a laundromat a time or two, but not often because it's friggin expensive. I have fibromyalgia, bone spurs on my spine and two herniated disks so I don't lift a whole lot of laundry at a time to carry it back and forth. I DID wash out a couple of our large plastic containers and I've handwashed some things, but here's what I was wondering. Some of the things don't seem to be that clean, even after I've rubbed the daylights out of the clothes and rinsed them a couple of times. I've even tried soaking them in baking soda water.
Anyone else do handwashing and could give me some advice?
